Do I really CARE about the Royal Wedding?

Short answer: Yes! I haven't been watching any of the programs on Lifetime or anything leading up to the much anticipated nuptials, but I definitely have my DVR set to record the coverage on Friday!

So why should we, as Americans, give a hoot about what the English Royal Family is doing?

#1 Prince William is further proof that you can be handsome and rock a receding hairline.

#2 The soon-to-be Princess Catherine has good style

and finally

#3 It's a real life Disney Princess Story!

Here's this girl, albeit from a well off family, (how else can you afford to go to the same school as the #2 Prince of England?[his dad being #1]) who's not nobility, so she's a commoner, marrying a Prince. That's all I need to know! I wanna see the dress, I wanna hear the vows, I wanna see what a Royal Wedding looks like since I wasn't even born when the last big one happened, and this is a once in a generation shindig.

So who is with me? Lets set our DVRs and alarms and be there when it happens! (or at least watch it after the fact in case we wake up and decide sleep is more important :P )
